Volunteer opportunity!

Posted by Joe Frankovitch on

Hi to our wonderful Bee Grateful Farm community!

The recent wind has kept our days at the farm... interesting!  But we are excited to see the sun bring to life so many veggies that we can't wait to share with the community.

This year we will be at the Steamboat Farmer's market on Saturdays, providing fresh veggies to local restaurants, and serving our weekly CSA members.  So needless to say, we have our hands full!

We are looking for a volunteer to help with our blog to keep our community up to date on farm happenings, what we are planting, and what is being harvested.

Here are the details:

  • Write 1-2 blog posts per week for 7 weeks, starting next week
  • You will receive a weekly box of veggies (see Spring CSA share for your help)
  • Visit the farm (in Oak Creek) and our stand at the Steamboat farmer's market most weeks to take photos and videos to incorporate into blog posts
  • Include great recipes that include the veggies that are available that week
  • If it works out, we'd love for this person to continue through the summer (in exchange for a sold-out summer CSA share)

If you love to write, appreciate the role farming plays in a community, and love fresh, local veggies, shoot us at note at farmer {at} beegratefulfarm.com.  Please include samples of your writing.

Thank you for continuing to support the farm and allowing us to grow healthy food for you!
